About HD Landscapes
HD Landscapes was started in the Spring of 2015 by owner and operator Hobart. It all began with the self-propelled lawn mower Hobart would haul along with him in the bed of his pickup truck.
HD Landscapes Comes to Life
As Hobart started services for just three customers, the business has since grown to add eight additional employees with a collection of high-end commercial equipment and currently serves approximately thirty customers who receive routine lawn services. Though the business had primarily operated on weekends, they were also busy on weeknights responding to service calls to make sure all customers are taken care of in a timely manner.
It was during early 2018 Hobart noticed many customers had irrigation systems that were not working properly. Over the next several months he took the state-required classroom hours and exams and in July 2018, he earned his Landscape Irrigator License from the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality, LI0024275. A Landscape Irrigator can sell, design, consult, install, maintain, alter, repair, or service an irrigation system, including the connection of such system to a private or public, raw or potable water supply, or any water other supply.
